A family office client.
This company wanted to take advantage of the improvements in System Center 2012. They wanted the ability to monitor network devices as well as servers. In addition, they wanted to be notified if systems or services went down and allow the system to self remediate simpler issues (e.g. a service stopped so restart the service).
Completing this upgrade included implementing the product in a methodical, planned method rather than just turning on all of the monitors at one time. Once the upgrade was complete, the company then had the ability to be notified if key services or systems go offline (e.g. SharePoint, IIS, SQL)
As a result, the company is now more proactive when responding to issues. They aren't being notified of down systems by users calling in and can frequently have the system back online before calls start.
